SALLY SKOUFIS partners with sustainable freshwater pearl farmers, who deeply consider the habitat for the mussels and diligently meet the ideal conditions for pearl production and water quality. A process that adds value to the ecosystem. These creatures filter water naturally, by removing heavy metals and nitrogen from the waters surrounding them. Research indicates that pearl farming can improve water quality and the local ecosystem, with positive impacts on coral reef conservation.
